Neil Young was once photographed with Donald Trump. He said the photo was taken at an event where they were trying to raise some funds for an online music service called Pono. Trump, however, denied this and stated that Young was there to borrow money from him. Well, that’s one way to get a national artist to completely avoid any form of support.
Carlos Slim is one of the richest men in the world. In fact, Trump doesn’t even hold a candle to Slim’s 77 billion dollar net worth. However, what really makes us believe that Slim won’t want to do business in the US anymore once Trump’s elected is because of the racial discrimination. Apparently, Trump things that Mexicans are just drug dealers, rapists and criminals, and nobody wants to do business with a man with such a closed mind.
Ricky Martin, once the hottest Latin music sensation, has been very vocal about his disappointment with Donald Trump. The presidential candidate has been harassing the Latin community so much that he Martin opted to write a letter (in Spanish, mind you) stating his ire and anger. All that from a conference wherein Trump had a Latin journalist ejected for asking questions regarding immigration, huh?
Emily Blunt is a British actress who recently became a US citizenship after getting married to American actor John Krasinski. However, she did so during the time that Trump announced he was running for presidency. Considering that Trump has made it clear that he wants all non-Americans out of U.S soil when he wins, Blunt has expressed regret over her decision. She stated, "I became an American citizen recently, and that night, we watched the Republican debate and I thought, 'This was a terrible mistake. What have I done?'"
Trump was also the butt of jokes, courtesy of comic and actor Tracy Morgan. Thanks to Trump’s claims of Obama not being an American, instead being a “Hawaiian” citizen, Tracy decided to up the game by stating that he’s got the current president’s birth certificate. He said, “Donald, I got [Obama's birth] certificate. It ain't in Hawaii, it's in Brooklyn. Come and get it if you want to see it." Ooooooh…
Bill Maher is a comedian, but one with very strong political views. As the host of Real Time on HBO, Maher simply expressed his disdain for the candidacy of Donald Trump. According to Maher during an interview, “These are just the brain farts, the stream-of-consciousness ramblings of a guy who obviously has over the course of his life breathed in too much construction debris." Pretty accurate description for Donald Trump right there, good sir.
